TAS (upcoming exhibition)
Fire is one of the most attractive and necessary things in our daily life. Yet it is also one of the most dangourous. Being evacuated from a bushfire in Tasmania, this pavillion is a personal design on the duality and paradox of fire.
Perfectly normal and beautiful from the outside, the interior space is burnt and charred. The shadow of its blackness gives off a strange sense of protection to the visitor. It is both scary and comfortable. Inside there is room for stories, music and small-scale gatherings.
Pavillion made of wood and fire.
